Iraq, Jordan to Strengthen Trade Ties
TEHRAN (ANA)- Amman and Baghdad have reportedly signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to boost their economic ties, local media sources reported.
Information and Communications Technology Association (ICTAJ) of Jordan has reportedly signed a MoU with Iraqi Business Council (IBC), to strengthen commercial cooperation between the two sides and support efforts to find new markets for both sides’ companies, state-run Petra News Agency reported.
The two sides will seek mutual support in organising economic events, exchanging knowledge, and networking.
ICTAJ Chairman Amjad Swais has underscored that Iraq has always been an important strategic market for Jordanian companies, describing it as "one of the most promising destinations in the ICT sector".
